FastForward U provides entrepreneurs at Hopkins with the resources and guidance to turn their innovative concepts into fully-realized ventures. They offer advice and mentorship, learning and networking events, work space, and funding opportunities to all students. Student-run organization TOC Labs promotes student entrepreneurship at Johns Hopkins University. TCO offers workshops, annual conferences, the EcoMap (a map of resources for Baltimore-area entrepreneurs, and the Hatchery, and more. Visit their website to learn about all TCO Labs programming.
The Center for Leadership Education in the Whiting School of Engineering offers a variety of courses that prepare students to compete in the JHU Business Plan Competition as well as student-run organizations and professional associations, which allow Hopkins students to gain experience in business, finance, social entrepreneurship, and marketing and communications. Both CLE coursework and student organizations are open to all students on the Homewood and Peabody campuses. Courses in the CLE’s Professional Development Program are open to all graduate students and post-doctoral fellows free of charge.
